Early morning photo sessions are always my favorite because the lighting is just amazing!

This session was perfection. The cool morning desert air and the sun coming up behind the large cacti made for some pretty great shots. Little Owen also stole my heart with his big smiles.

They basically just ran around and played games and danced

while I followed them around taking pictures.

Let's talk about this amazing woman for a minute.

I met her a few years ago- our little boys had become good friends at school

and it turned out, they lived just down the street from us.

When I first met her, she had the cutest super short pixie cut hair I have ever seen.

It wasn't until months later I learned her super cute hair was short because she had recently gone

through chemotherapy for breast cancer... while she was pregnant with her 5th child.

Anyway we were all super sad when their family moved to Arizona a few months later.

But lucky for us, we spend a lot of time in Arizona!

Ashley's Maternity Pictures { Gilbert, Arizona}

I took Ashley's maternity pictures at the Riparian Preserve in Gilbert, Arizona. Ashley was glowing and her husband had me laughing so hard, tears were coming out of my eyes.
