the traditional posed family picture where everyone is smiling is great

but more and more lately i am finding myself drawn to

lifestyle photography.

i just wanna capture real moments.

kids playing. dancing. laughing.

genuine laughs.

real moments.

raw emotion

i know my clients love the perfectly posed family photo's.

i do to.

but here is the thing...

a photo that captures  raw emotion

and portrays the relationship between people...

well, there is just nothing more beautiful.

i will still be doing a few posed family photo's in my sessions

but i am moving more toward candid photography.

there was just something so sweet

captured between this little guy and his grandpa.
