Unplugged

A few weeks ago

my sweet Owen started

2nd grade.

Huge deal!

Anyway as it always seems to go,

he got sick the first week of school.

It was a cold.

He has not been feeling too hot

for about a week now.

This weekend,

both of the  other littles got colds as well.

Fevers. Runny Noses.Ear Aches.

Anyway

the point to all of this rambling is

I have three sickies

who all want to be held

and really need

their mommy..

big time.

So

I will be unplugged this week.

I will be back next week

Alexa Part Deux {Alpine Photographer}

For some photo sessions

the stars all a line

the lighting

the location

the families

are perfect.

No crying babies

or grouchy toddlers

everything is just ideal.

This was not one of those sessions.

{i can say that because this is my daughter}

Who was grumpy

due to her refusal to have naps.

The evening was so hot

and the air was smoky

yes, another wildfire

and there was a dead bird?

chicken?

something.. near by that totally gave me the creeps

Even though the conditions were far from perfect

the pictures

just like her.
