SO obviously, this family is in fact

Perfect.

I mean, just look at them.

But..

the picture itself isn't.

It's pulled a bit too far back

and the family is off center.

Not the best composition.

Yeah, that's what I thought at first too.

 

But here is the thing.

I LOVE it.

I mean

REALLY, REALLY

Love it.

I love the way the tree's frame the picture.

I love the off center-ness of it all.

It is beautifully imperfect.

Just like us all.

Today was Lou la Belle Photography's

Fall for Charity Event.

It was fantasic.

 

The best part of my day was seeing this huge smile on Nathanael's face.

His Mom said, "Where's your smile?"

and he said "Right here".

And sure enough

There it was.

Ashley

Ashley, I could take your picture all day! You are gorgeous and so amazingly photogenic it's just not fair.
 Ashley was another model from the shoot with Melanie Formal Gowns from a few days ago. Although almost every shot was full length, I had to snap a close up of her because I knew it would turn out beautifully.

Brittany

A few days ago I did a huge photo shoot with Melanie Formal Gowns. It was so much fun! We had a bunch of beautiful models running around in gorgeous gowns! I just sat down to look through all of the pictures and found this one of Brittany. She is just lovely.

Owen- 7 year old pic's

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this boy! I can't believe my baby is already seven years old! For his pictures, we went to Draper and found an awesome location! Owen- Happy birthday, Buddy! I Love you!

American Fork Prom 2012

To say that my kiddos have been sick the last few weeks would be the understatement of the year. All three of them have had the most random ailments and have defiantly needed their mommy, pretty much 24-7. So when I showed up to shoot these prom pic's, I was dead on my feet. I had literally been awake a full 24 hours and, well, I'm just too old for that kind of shenanigans. I was quickly pulled out of my little pity party by these awesome kids! They were just so young and vibrant and fun to be around. Mr tall, blond and handsome on the left down there is my adorable nephew, Brandon who had me laughing for days! Thanks, guys for letting me photograph your prom!

My Lou...

This is my little Alexa, who we call Lou. Soon after we brought her home from the hospital, her big brother Owen started calling her Alexa Lou Hoo.. The Lou part stuck.
